Bangladesh is the second largest apparel exporting country and for the same it needs to buy a huge quantity of fabrics often from different countries. ANANTA Group ( Ananta Garments, Ananta Sportswear,Ananta Denim Technology and Ananta Apparels ) is leading the charts with an import figure of 510,902.17 Yards which also accounts for 10.50% share in the total import. The next is DENIMACH with 492,707.96 Yards of import having share of 10.25% in the total import made in the month of August 2017 .Â Below is the list of top 9 denim fabric buyers for the month of August,2017 along with their share in the total import .Â All these 9 companies have 56.09% share in the total import and the rest 43.91% share comes from other companies from Bangladesh.

Arvind , Raymond and Rswm are three major exporters to Ananta . Raymond UCO is the major supplier to Denimach . The third company in the league is KENPARK . The company has imported 487,604.85 Yards of Denim Fabric from India at an average price of USD 2.37/Yards. Arvind and Raymond are two major exporters to Kenpark . Arvind has exported 272,094.88 Yards of denim fabrics to Kenpark at an average price of USD 2.42/Yards however Raymond UCO exported the denim fabrics at an average price ofÂ USD 2.29/yards.
