TOP COUNTRIES SUPPLYING DENIM FABRICS TO MEXICO
In the month of May 2019, Mexico has imported approx. 4 million sqm of denim fabrics.
CHINA is the biggest exporter of Denim Fabric to Mexico with a total volume of about 3 million sqm at an average price of USD 0.46/sqm. India is the 2nd biggest denim supplier which exported around 3 lakhs sqm of denim fabric at an average price of USD 1.61/sqm. Brazil, United States ,Pakistan etc. are other major countries which contributed about 5%,4%,3% of the total import of denim fabric of Mexico respectively.Japan on the other hand exported at the highest average price of 5.98 USD/SQM.
(Note: this data has been captured from various govt organizations including customs. the actual imports are likely to be higher than this figure .)

The prices from countries like China look ridiculous at less than 50 cents. It is widely believed that these prices are not correct and are under invoiced so that the importers can avoid duties and hence these should not be seen as benchmark prices and the readers can draw their own conclusion .
TOP COMPANIES EXPORTING DENIM IN MEXICO
So far as the import of denim fabric by different companies are concerned, GRUPO COMERCIALIZADOR MARBELY and BEMMAR INSTALACIONESÂ are the biggest importers of denim fabric into Mexico with the total import of 2 million sqm and 6 lakhs sqm of denim fabric respectively.
