    When I made my final collection at university 80% denim, I never really realized that it was the beginning of my 20-year journey in the denim industry. As I was leaving high school, I distinctly remember my art teacher asking me; “Why are you going to study fashion? You only paint nudes!”

    I couldn’t really answer that question, but off I went on my next adventure. Already in my first year of university, I was specializing in menswear, & in year 2 I started playing with denim. I was hand sanding, cutting, fraying, bleach splattering, with very little idea of what I was doing & no teachers with any denim knowledge to guide me.

    Through my own experimentation, I was beginning to understand the nature of denim & how truly unique it is.
    Denim felt natural to me somehow & when I was offered a job at Pepe Jeans it was the logical first step into the industry that has since become my second family.

    Working as a product developer for Pepe & then Wrangler, I ‘grew up’ on the factory floors & in the laundries of Turkey, Poland, Bangladesh, Pakistan, Italy, Mauritius, etc. Since 2017 when I launched my own company Three By One Europe® I have been working as a design & development consultant, & at the same time building my own brand. Working on the catwalk collection for Calvin Klein, the high street collection of Marks & Spencers, & mentoring start-ups, all while developing my own product range & building the business from A to Z.

    I am passionate about transparency, sustainability & inclusivity in the supply chain, Whether you are a small start-up brand or a big retailer or mill, I can help you develop products that are good for your customers, good for the planet, and good for the people who produce them.     Sustainability Technique Used In Production

    Immediate Future Growth Plans

    Nandan denim as a company and Chiripal group as a whole is investing huge amount of money in all segments :

    • Spinning capacity. From 64 MT per day to 124 MT per day. Company is venturing into all kinds of yarn spinning like blended yarn ( cotton/ tencel, p/c/spandex, P/V/Spandex), finner counts, compact yarn, melange yarn, fiber dyed yarn and many more.
    • Weaving capacity. 71 MMPA to110 MMPA . The new expansion will be catering to all kinds of weave design and any width required by the constantly changing fashion market.
    • Dyeing capacity. 84 MMPA to 110 MMPA. The company is capable of doing any kinds shades with any yarn.
    • Value added finishing : Flat finish, over dyeing ,and in many other special finishes.

    Market Focus

    The company claims to have a strong dealer network spread across the world to enable easy and timely availability with direct contacts available in Hong Kong, Bangladesh, Egypt, Peru, Panama, Columbia and Korea. The mixing of international customers with the domestic customers enables Nandan to mix the two different streams of cultures, brining world to India and taking India to the world.

    Though present main market is Indian domestic market, Nandan denim supply denim in almost 27 countries. Now focusing more on exports markets like USA and Europe.Other areas like Bangladesh, Vietnam, Latin America etc.

The recycling process is so efficient that there is no waste at the end of the production and therefore we can claim to produce zero landfill. In fact VICUNHA is the largest individual consumer of BCI cotton in the world and uses around 100,000 tonnes a year. For SS2018 we will be launching a new range of ECO RECYCLE fabrics, this range incorporates waste yarn , recycled back into the spinning process to create new yarn, options are set to be available in both stretch and rigids. The key to good recycled yarn is consistency, this is difficult to achieve, however as VICUNHA create this in house under strict control, we are able to achieve exacting standards. The range of fabrics to be offered also includes options that also use less water in the making.     DRYYARN TECHNOLOGY

    With the new Dryarn technology, Vicunha is bringing a high-performance denim with temperature-control effect to the market. The company claims that the fabrics can be worn for high-performance sports in all weather conditions and It also uses a really lightweight yarn that is not only comfortable to wear, but is able to keep you warm when the conditions are cold and cool when the conditions are hot .
