TOP 10 COUNTRIES SUPPLYING DENIM FABRICS TO COLOMBIA

In the month of October 2019 , Colombia has imported approx. 3.86 million sqm of denim fabrics. INDIA is the biggest exporter of Denim Fabric to Colombia with a total volume of 1.30 million sqm at an average price of USD 1.15/sqm. China is the 2nd biggest denim supplier which exported 8.47 lakhs sqm of denim fabric at an average price of USD 1.64/sqm.

Brazil, Venezuela and Mexico are other major countries which contributed 18%,7%, and 6% of the total import of denim fabric of Colombia respectively:

TOP 10 DENIM IMPORTING COMPANIES OF COLOMBIA

So far as the import of denim fabric by different companies are concerned, JOHN URIBE E HIJOS S A  and COMERTEX S A  are the biggest importers of denim fabric into Colombia with the total import of 3.32 lakhs sqm and 3.28 lakhs sqm of denim fabric respectively.

JOHN URIBE E HIJOS SA

John Uribe imported 3.32 lakhs sqm of denim fabrics in the month of October,2019 and it got many suppliers on the board.  Out of many  suppliers, R&B Denims Ltd. is the biggest supplier with the export volume of 173,167.68 sqm and ZHEJIANG TENGMA TEXTILE CO LTD is the second  biggest suppliers with the total volume of 119,577 sqm.  Average Price at which R&B is supplying is $1.15/sqm and Zhejiang is supplying at $1.55/sqm.

328,503.04 sqm of denim fabric has been imported by Comertex SA in the month of October , 2019 at an average price of $1.26/sqm . Sangam Ltd is the biggest supplier which supplied 216,574.22 sqm of denim fabric at an average price of $1.24/sqm.

VICUNHA COLOMBIA SAS imported 313,251.23 sqm of denim fabrics in the month of October,2019 from its own companies ie .Vicunha Textil SA from Brazil and Vicunha Ecuador SA . Average Price at which both companies are supplying is $1.44/sqm and $1.57/sqm respectively.

The total import of denim fabric made by COLOMBIANA DE during the month of October,2019 is 2.81 lakhs sqm. Out of many the two major suppliers to Colombiana DE are Sangam India Limited and ZHEJIANG XINLAN TEXTILE CO LTD . Sangam supplied 118,478.38 sqm of denim fabric at an average price of $1.22/sqm and Zhejiang supplied 101,929.92 sqm of denim fabric at an average price of $ 1.49/sqm.

C I Jeans SA imported 155,449.43 sqm of denim fabrics in the month of  October 2019 from various companies out of which COMPANHIA DE FIACAO E TECIDOS SANTO ANTONIO being the largest with the total volume of about 77,305.60 sqm.  Average Price at which Santista is supplying is $1.22/sqm.
