This is one of the sharpest increase in the recent years and augurs well for the industry . This increase is likely to reflect in the year 2014 as well. Many important exporting countries like Bangladesh and Pakistan showed their significant improvement in their volumes while some of the countries like China had to suffer reductions. The average price of jeans imports , however, reduced by <\/p>\n<p>In this report we will cover&#160; a number of tables including the following :<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>The total volumes of&#160; denim apparel imported into EU in 2013 , their average prices and values. <\/li>\n<li>Change in Men\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s jeans imported in this period with their average prices, volumes etc. <\/li>\n<li>Change in Women\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s jeans imported in this period with their average prices, volumes etc. <\/li>\n<li>Top exporting countries during 2013 with their volumes, prices etc. <\/li>\n<li>Top exporters of men\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s and women\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s jeans worldwide who exported to EU during 2013 . We will analyse which countries are stronger in the men\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s jeans segment and which are stronger in women\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s jeans. <\/li>\n<li>Specific details on some important countries export figures. <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>[private_special]<\/p>\n<p>First of all lets look at the figures of total import of jeans into EU in 2013 as compared to 2012. From the figures below we can see that there is a significant increase of about 8.3% in 2013 from 454 million pieces to 492 million pcs. The value of these imports is about Euro 3.68 billion in 2013 as compared to&#160; Euro 3.53 billion in 2012. This increase is even more significant when we consider that Bangladesh had been going through a turmoil in 2013 and was politically disturbed in 2013. It still increased its export volumes \u00e2\u20ac\u201cthough the average export&#160; price from Bangladesh&#160; reduced by about 6%. Though China is still the largest exporter to EU27 for Jeans, Bangladesh is breathing on its neck and is almost at similar qty levels as that of China. However, what is surprising is that even in 2013 when Pakistan did not have this benefit, the increase in volumes is over 23% !! . But when we look closely and differentiate between men\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s and women&#8217;s jeans, we find that certain rankings change. In the table below for Men\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s jeans imports into EU, we can see that Bangladesh overtakes China by a huge margin .&#160; Bangladesh is clearly the top exporter of men\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s jeans to EU currently.&#160; Pakistan and Tunisia are also comparatively stronger in men\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s denim as compared to women\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s.    <br
