We look at some information regarding such imports in first quarter of&#160; 2014:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>The main buyers of denim who imported denim in this period. <\/li>\n<li>The approx idea of quantities that they bought. <\/li>\n<li>Average prices at which they&#160; bought. <\/li>\n<li>The countries from where such purchases were done.&#160; <\/li>\n<li>Contact details on over 20 such buyers. <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>[private_special]<\/p>\n<p>The indicative quantities imported into Columbia , on which information is available , is about 4 million sq mtrs in the months of Feb and March \u00e2\u20ac\u02dc14. These quantities are not absolute ie may not cover all quantities imported , hence the actual imports could be higher.&#160; The average prices of such imports was about USD 2.68\/sq mtr . In the table below, we are showing the details of some of the major buyers of denim fabrics in Colombia in the months of Feb and March\u00e2\u20ac\u212214.&#160; The approx quantities purchased by them are given alongwith the average prices at which they bought per sq mtr. We have also converted these prices in linear mtr taking an average width of 150 cm \u00e2\u20ac\u201c to give a fair idea of the prices.
