Its difficult to believe that first women\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s jeans were introduced 61 years after the men had been wearing them ! . Levi\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s had introduced the first men\u00e2\u20ac\u2122 jeans \u00e2\u20ac\u201c mainly meant for working men- in 1873 . In the Fall of 1934 , it decided to introduce the Lady\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s Levi\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s Jeans and forever changed the course of women fashion.<\/p>\n

Levi\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s would have never thought that about 75 years<\/a> after the introduction of women\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s jeans, the denim fits, finishes  and fabric innovations would be driven by women\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s needs and that the sales of women\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s jeans would surpass that of men\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s (in fact it was done in 2000)!  . Despite the latest high finishing techniques for women\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s jeans , today\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s most popular styles \u00e2\u20ac\u201c The Boyfriend and Skinny Jeans<\/strong> \u00e2\u20ac\u201c trace their ancestory to the earliest jeans developed by Levi\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s. In the early 1900s, when women had no options available for them , they used to wear the men\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s jeans and the Boyfriend Jeans was a \u00e2\u20ac\u02dcFashion by compulsion\u00e2\u20ac\u2122<\/strong> or due to \u00e2\u20ac\u02dcLack of choice\u00e2\u20ac\u2122.<\/p>\n
