The unstable market conditions, falling disposable incomes, and demand are now affecting the gigantic manufacturers and the global leaders in the production, and Bangladesh – one of the biggest jeans exporters worldwide, has also been affected in its exports. If the data is to be believed, Bangladesh reported a fall of 10.76 % in their jeans export to the EU for the period Jan-August,2019 compared to the same period last year. In this report, we analyze the following :
- Volumes exported by Bangladesh to EU and Its corresponding average price
- Export of Men and Women Jeans to EU and Its corresponding average price
- Jeans imported by leading EU countries separately. This is to analyze how different countries are individually interacting with Bangladesh as a supplier.
- % Share in the Imports of Jeans from Bangladesh
