Further to our last article on SS’18 Denim Runway collections from some important labels, we continue the same as Part II of the same article bringing some of the coolest looks on the runway for the next season . Moschino has some very interesting fabric mixes , patchworks (including laser ones) while Diesel Gold relies on making raw denim cooler by way of patches or colored seems and stitchings . Valentino tries to remain raw and simple.

Worn in authentics, nostalgic corduroy’s, shimmering indigo’s , a new addition to the family of dry jeans – the lighter 11oz dry denim are some of the pieces in the PRE SPRING’18 Collection of the Swedish brand NUDIE JEANS. Along the way the brand celebrates Gothenburg- its hometown-  with the release of limited Royal Embo and the three crowns Scribble Denim . Denim ( 13.4 Oz rigid denim) jacket with worn in authentic wash. It’s been scribbled with the motif of an old playing card and the hem at back features the name of our Nudie hometown. Ripped off patch mark on left sleeve.
Dry denim ( 11.75 Oz Comfort Stretch Denim ) dyed with natural indigo. This is a celebration of the 397th birthday of their beloved hometown Göteborg. The back pocket embroidery is stitched in the shape of a lion. The same symbol as on the city’s coat of arms. Available in limited numbers.
This 16 oz. option will take some time to get just right, but with enough love and effort they could be the best denim jacket you ever owned. It has navy embroidery on chest pocket and having leather patch and gunmetal trims also .
Shimmering, smooth, even wash. At pocket openings, fly and waistband the abrasions are quite heavy.The scribblings are the three crowns – a national emblem for Sweden – on right thigh and a written message at waistband.

This fall, American Eagle Outfitters celebrates its 40th anniversary and looks to the future with AE Studio, a remodel of AE’s store in a premiere location in NYC’s vibrant Union Square neighborhood. Opening November 10, AE Jeans will be a focal point of the studio’s first floor Jeans Gallery, where customers can engage in a unique and experiential shopping environment featuring AE’s leading collections. This includes an exclusive collaboration with Atelier & Repairs, an assortment of customized denim and apparel repurposed from AE’s previous collections. The creative atmosphere is meant to inspire community and collaboration.

J Brand , a US based premium denim label has recently launched their RTW Spring 2018 collection. J Brand is known for the skinny jean and made the first skinny jean in 2005 .However in this collection the brand presented rigid , non-stretch and high rise, with soft or easy fitting silhouettes .The collection features cropped jeans with high waists, wide or straight legs in powdery pink, natural off-white and traditional blue indigo but in lighter washes . The collection is also very special as for the first time men have been included in the presentation where they have been featured in relaxed Jackets in shades of white,gray and faded blue. The entire collection seems to be exuding the sustainable message with the green background – though its not clear whether the brand is using sustainable fabrics and products in its collection.

As a brand, CR is new to the world of denim, their philosophy is steeped in the desire to create a denim brand without limits. Inspired by Cristiano Ronaldo, the inspirational superstar .Like Cristiano, both on and off the field, the brand in itself believes in chasing dreams and taking risks, pushing the boundaries and setting the new standard.The collection comprises of four pair of flex jeans and the prices start at $79 and go upto $144. With a Facebook/Instagram/Twitter following of 282 million , is the success of the brand a foregone conclusion ? Time will tell. In the meantime we check out some interesting pieces.
